The Product Development Manager is expected to actively manage product lines from start to finish, communicating across teams internationally, to grow revenue and develop successful and profitable accessory products. This position has a degree of autonomy and is expected to choose the strategic direction of their Product line.
Deliver product on time, on price, and with the features needed to succeed.
Meet periodically with licensor representatives, virtually and at company locations and licensor headquarters.
Develop and review prototypes and tooling methods to verify and implement the functionality of product designs. Requires careful detailed planning, follow-up and attention to detail.
Ensure project documentation is complete, current, accurate, and entered timely in the product Database.
Evaluate materials, forms and ingredients used to develop an interim or finished product.
Communicate to appropriate departments any possible production risks, product integrity issues and regulatory risks.
Create and pitch product concepts and business cases.
Requirements
Minimum 5-7 years of experience working as a product manager in the cycling industry
Experience in manufacturing bicycles in Asia
Bachelor or Technical Degree related to skills that would be utilized in your assigned class.
